Chirpy Chirpy Tweet Tweet

We had a new experience last week – we went to our first Tweet-Up, in Saxty’s bar in Hereford. Twitter has been essential to our marketing and PR strategy and continues to be an essential source of industry information and connections to other businesses. But we all know what all work made Jack, so we were very keen to go out to play with other Hereford tweeps. We all post under our business names and were essentially there with our business heads on, but it was a really enjoyable, social evening and bears out everything we believe about the internet just making it easier to do what human beings want to do – meet up, make friends and do business.

Julia Leonard (@julesthejourno) from BBC Hereford & Worcester came along to cover the event and interviewed many of us – the coverage can be heard here. We’re signed up for the next Tweet-Up in May at The Courtyard (@CourtyardArts), always a lovely venue. A big thank-you to Amanda Ingham (@TreasureTrailsW) for organising it, and it was lovely to meet you all.
